About Creekside Champions™
Each Creekside Champion™ plant is hand-selected for its exceptional beauty, resilience, and proven garden performance. Grown with care by our family and backed by generations of expertise, these plants embody trust, quality, and the joy of cultivating something truly special. Confident, dependable, and naturally stunning — Creekside Champions™ are made to thrive. Family Grown. Proven Performance.

Hosta ‘Sun Mouse’ (Hosta)
Hybridized by Tony Avent, ‘Sun Mouse’ is a charming miniature hosta with the same adorable leaf shape and dependable performance as ‘Blue Mouse Ears,’ but with a sunny twist. Its thick, rounded leaves emerge a brilliant yellow and hold their bright color well into summer, making it an excellent choice for adding light and contrast to shade gardens, troughs, and small containers.

Compared to ‘Blue Mouse Ears,’ ‘Sun Mouse’ is slightly shorter and wider, forming a neat, symmetrical mound. For the best golden coloration, plant it where it receives morning sun or filtered shade. In midsummer, proportionate scapes rise above the foliage carrying soft lavender flowers that add seasonal interest and attract hummingbirds.

Why it’s a Creekside Champions™ selection:
Chosen for its exceptional leaf color retention, compact habit, and standout performance as a miniature hosta, ‘Sun Mouse’ consistently delivers beauty and reliability in small spaces and containers.
