Pulmonaria ‘Silver Scimitar’ (Lungwort)
Pulmonaria hybrid ‘Silver Scimitar’ brings bold texture and early color to the garden with its large, arching silver-green leaves and distinctive wavy, strap-like shape. This vigorous, full-sized variety forms a handsome, stately mound that’s blanketed each spring with clusters of bicolor pink and purple blooms — a favorite of early-season hummingbirds. Exceptionally fast-growing and easy to maintain, ‘Silver Scimitar’ performs beautifully in both shade and part sun, brightening borders, pathways, and woodland edges. For best results, provide cool, evenly moist soil to keep the foliage lush and thriving.
Why It’s a Creekside Champion™:
We love ‘Silver Scimitar’ for its bold silver foliage, vigorous growth, and long-lasting spring display that adds texture and charm to both sunny and shaded garden spaces.
