Pulmonaria ‘Trevi Fountain’ (Lungwort)
Pulmonaria longifolia ‘Trevi Fountain’ is a standout perennial prized for its deep green leaves splashed with bright silver and its profuse clusters of rich cobalt-blue flowers in spring. Vigorous and naturally mildew-free, this variety forms a lush, spreading mound that adds brilliant color and texture to both sunny and shaded gardens. With strong P. longifolia roots, it’s particularly well-suited for warmer southern climates, offering excellent heat and humidity tolerance.
For best results, keep the soil evenly moist and the roots cool — plants will wilt quickly if allowed to dry out. When mature, clumps can be root-pruned and will re-establish easily, making this a long-lived and easy-to-maintain garden favorite.
Why It’s a Creekside Champion™:
We love ‘Trevi Fountain’ for its vibrant blue blooms, clean silver-spotted foliage, and proven durability that thrives beautifully even in southern gardens.
