Why You Need a Hydrangea Sandwich
I am in love with our garden's hydrangea sandwich, and I think you need to have one too! What exactly is a hydrangea sandwich? It's a space in your garden that is flanked on two sides by two sets of hydrangeas! It makes an absolutely magnificent display for months on end and will give you massive amounts of blooms to enjoy both inside and outside. This area of our garden features 'Fire Light' panicle hydrangea, Supertunia Vista 'Silverberry', and 'Little Lime' panicle hydrangea, all of which are Proven Winners plants. In the far back of this bed is a row of three 'Nellie Stevens' holly trees which will make a magnificent evergreen backdrop for this hydrangea sandwich in a few years. Join me as I take you on a little garden tour of this beautiful space!
