Begonia ‘Viking® XL Red on Chocolate’
Begonia × benariensis ‘Viking® XL Red on Chocolate’ is a bold and vigorous variety that delivers unbeatable color and texture from spring through fall. Large, intensely red blooms contrast beautifully against deep bronze-chocolate foliage that holds its rich tone all season. This award-winning begonia forms a sturdy, compact mound that stays neat and full — never leggy — while thriving in a wide range of growing conditions. Perfect for landscapes, garden beds, and large containers, it’s both heat- and drought-tolerant once established, offering months of nonstop beauty with very little maintenance.
Why It’s a Creekside Champion™:
We love ‘Viking® XL Red on Chocolate’ for its dramatic red blooms, glossy dark foliage, and vigorous growth that looks polished and vibrant in any setting.
