North American wildflower enthusiasts will love TOTALLY STOKED™, the new series of Stoke's Aster, members of which are moderately sized with dense habits and rich, dark green foliage.  Strong primary branching provides scores of flowers all summer, completely covering the plant.  A selection from the North Carolina State University hybridizing program, these plants thrive in the southern summer's heat and humidity.
2½-3" flowers are near white with a blush pink tinge. From a distance, the flowers appear white.
Stokesia is a wildflower native to North American and has been a mainstay due to its lovely flowers and ease of culture.  It shines in southern gardens because of its heat tolerance.  Blooming from midsummer to early fall (if deadheaded), it is an exceptional accent to white, pink or yellow mums and other late bloomers.
