Description
Description
Lavandula angustifolia SWEET ROMANCE® (English Lavender)
Lavandula angustifolia SWEET ROMANCE® from Proven Winners® is a beautifully compact, early-blooming English lavender that brings timeless fragrance and elegance to the garden. Its dense mounds of silvery-grey foliage are topped with rich violet-purple flower spikes beginning in early summer and continuing into early fall. The aromatic blooms are perfect for cutting fresh or drying for long-lasting arrangements.
Exceptionally heat and drought tolerant once established, SWEET ROMANCE® thrives in full sun and well-drained, even gravelly soil—making it ideal for those hot, dry spots where few other plants perform. This dependable variety resists pests and diseases, needs little care beyond a light spring trim, and rewards gardeners with months of color and fragrance.
