Heliopsis helianthoides ‘Sundial’
Common Name: False Sunflower
‘Sundial’ is an upright, commanding variety of False Sunflower that delivers bold, high-contrast color just when the garden needs it most. Rich gold petals with deep red eyes glow against glossy, dark olive-green foliage, creating a vibrant midsummer to late-summer display. This native perennial forms a tall, bushy, well-branched clump with sturdy stems and triangular leaves — a true workhorse for the middle or back of sunny borders.
Exceptionally mildew resistant and cold hardy, ‘Sundial’ thrives in hot, dry conditions thanks to its deep root system.
