Sun Gold is known for its intense fruity sweetness and vivid tangerine-orange color. Small 15–20 gram cherry tomatoes ripen early and continue producing steadily through the growing season.
Vigorous indeterminate plants grow tall and benefit from staking or caging for support. Fruit ripens gradually over an extended period, allowing for ongoing harvest rather than a single concentrated flush. Because of their thin skins and tendency to split, these tomatoes are best enjoyed fresh rather than shipped long distances.
Sun Gold performs best in full sun and medium-rich, well-drained soil. Consistent watering and proper support will help maintain plant health and steady production through summer.
