Description

'Summer Serenade' Lavender

'Summer Serenade' Lavender is an early-blooming perennial that brings classic lavender color and fragrance to the garden. Spikes of true lavender-blue flowers appear early in the season and continue to fill the plant as summer progresses, creating a long-lasting display above aromatic silver foliage.

Growing in a compact, mounded habit, 'Summer Serenade' reaches 14–16 inches tall and spreads 18–24 inches wide. Its manageable size makes it an excellent choice for sunny borders, edging, mass plantings, and containers. Both the flowers and foliage are fragrant, while the blooms can also be enjoyed fresh in cut flower arrangements or dried for lasting use.

Heat and drought tolerant once established, this easy-care perennial thrives in full sun and performs well in lean soils. Its fragrant flowers attract bees and butterflies while the plant offers resistance to deer and rabbits.
