Members of this series have reliably overwintered in Zone 6, West Michigan climates for multiple years prior to selection. These plants are notable for heat and drought tolerance, as well as requiring little to no maintenance. The evergreen foliage creates year-round interest and is useful as a groundcover. Plant widths are measured after two years and they are likely to continue spreading after that.
Bi-color flowers transition from raspberry red tips to fuchsia purple eyes around cream centers.
