Description
Description
Want a touch of garden drama—but in the most refined way possible? Stay Classy® Purple Leaf Sand Cherry brings just that. With its upright, airy shape and stunning burgundy foliage, this fast-growing shrub adds instant elegance and rich contrast to the landscape. Unlike darker-leaved plants that can look heavy or flat, this one has a warm, rosy-purple tone that plays beautifully with surrounding greens and blooms.
In early spring, delicate white flowers appear, but it’s the foliage that steals the show—holding that vibrant color well into fall. Compact at just 3–4 feet tall and wide, it’s ideal for low hedges, mass plantings, or even stately container arrangements. Plus, this improved variety brings better disease resistance and drought tolerance, making it not only stylish but also resilient.
Why we love it:
-
Bold yet elegant burgundy foliage that stays colorful through fall
-
Grows quickly into a neat, compact shape
-
Drought-tolerant, cold-hardy, and low-maintenance
