Plant Needs

ProCut® White Nite produces 4–6 inch blooms in soft, creamy white tones surrounding a deep central disk. The pale petals bring contrast and brightness to summer beds and floral arrangements.

Plants grow 60–72 inches tall on sturdy, upright stems. This pollenless, single-stem variety produces one bloom per plant, making it ideal for cutting gardens and succession planting. For continuous harvest, sow every 1–2 weeks throughout the season.

Because lighter petals can show insect feeding more easily, many growers harvest blooms just as they begin to open and allow them to finish indoors for the cleanest appearance.

Sunflowers perform best in full sun and well-drained soil. Avoid pinching, as single-stem varieties will not branch.

How to Sow

  1. Direct sow after danger of frost has passed.

  2. Sow seeds 1/2 inch deep in well-drained soil.

  3. Space plants 4–6 inches apart.

  4. Do not pinch plants.

  5. Succession sow every 1–2 weeks for continuous blooms.
