Description
Monarda UPSCALE™ ‘Pink Chenille’ (Bee Balm)
Monarda UPSCALE™ ‘Pink Chenille’ brings a soft, yet vibrant pop of color to the summer garden with its large, 3½-inch bubblegum pink blooms that fade to a lighter center for a beautiful two-tone effect. Blooming from mid to late summer, the flowers cover the top half of the plant, with strong, well-branched stems supporting a second wave of blooms for extended color.
Part of the UPSCALE™ series, ‘Pink Chenille’ stands 22–24 inches tall with a full, rounded habit and excellent mildew resistance that keeps foliage clean and healthy throughout the season. This hardy, native perennial thrives in full sun to part shade and adapts well to moist or average soil conditions. A favorite among hummingbirds, butterflies, and pollinators, it’s perfect for borders, mass plantings, or container displays where its fragrant blooms can be fully enjoyed.
