Hosta ‘Mini Skirt’ (Hosta)
‘Mini Skirt’ is a petite, premium hosta that brings playful texture and standout detail to shaded spaces. It forms a tight miniature mound of thick, heavily wavy leaves that emerge blue-green with creamy yellow margins in spring, then mature to greener centers with crisp creamy white edges by summer. The foliage has excellent substance, giving this tiny hosta a refined, durable presence all season.
In early to midsummer, short, perfectly proportioned scapes rise just above the foliage, carrying clusters of pale lavender flowers accented with deeper purple striping. Ideal for troughs, patio containers with good drainage, and front-of-border placements, ‘Mini Skirt’ is best planted where its charming details can be appreciated up close. Like other hostas, it also performs well in urban settings and provides elegant coverage in shaded gardens.
