Mexican Sunflower, also known as Tithonia, produces bold 3–3 1/2 inch blooms in vivid tangerine orange, with an occasional red or yellow flower appearing in the mix. The bright color stands out in late summer when many plants begin to fade.
Plants grow 60–72 inches tall with a full, branching habit that works well at the back of beds, along fences, or as a seasonal screen. Blooming begins in midsummer and continues until the first hard freeze.
