Description
Description
The Dear Dolores® Hydrangea is a reblooming bigleaf hydrangea that fills the garden with vibrant color season after season. Known for its fast growth and generous flowering, this compact shrub produces lush mophead blooms that open pink in alkaline soils or blue in acidic soils. Growing to about 5 feet tall and wide, Dear Dolores maintains a rounded, balanced form that fits neatly into borders, hedges, or mass plantings. Its bright green foliage makes an attractive backdrop even when flowers are not in bloom, ensuring three-season garden presence.
Why We Love It
At Creekside, we love hydrangeas that deliver long bloom times with little extra work, and Dear Dolores is a true star. It pushes out flowers from spring through fall, reblooming reliably for months of enjoyment. With its compact size, dependable performance, and ability to shift colors with soil pH, it’s as fun as it is beautiful — a hydrangea you’ll look forward to every year.
