Hosta ‘Hope Springs Eternal’
SHADOWLAND® Collection
2026 Proven Winners National Hosta of the Year®
Hosta ‘Hope Springs Eternal’ is a beautifully refined, award-winning hosta that delivers elegance, texture, and optimism to the shade garden year after year. This standout variety features heart-shaped, horizontal blue leaves edged with a crisp, creamy white margin. What truly sets it apart is the dramatic ruffling that ripples from the leaf base all the way to the pointed tips, giving the plant a formal yet dynamic presence.
In midsummer, near-white flowers rise high above the foliage on impressively tall scapes, adding vertical interest and drawing in butterflies. With its strong growth rate, excellent substance, and polished habit, ‘Hope Springs Eternal’ shines as a specimen plant, focal point, or anchor in woodland and formal garden settings. Like other premium hostas, it offers reliable performance across a wide range of climates and maintains strong visual appeal throughout the season.
