FYRE WING™ 'Rhodonite' Heuchera
Common Name: Coral Bells
FYRE WING™ 'Rhodonite' Heuchera brings an extraordinary blend of color and delicate texture to the garden with finely cut foliage painted in shades of rose, violet, purple, and copper. While its intricate leaves may appear delicate, 'Rhodonite' offers the durability and dependable garden performance expected from Heuchera, creating a beautiful balance of refinement and strength.
The densely foliated plants emerge in spring with warm rosy-copper tones before gradually developing additional layers of color as the season progresses. Shades of violet and purple begin to mingle throughout the foliage, with richer purple tones becoming especially prominent by fall. This ever-changing display gives 'Rhodonite' remarkable season-long interest and ensures the plant never looks quite the same from one season to the next.
Its medium-small, compact habit makes 'Rhodonite' especially versatile in mixed containers, where its intricate foliage and evolving color make it a natural thriller. It is equally beautiful tucked into perennial borders or grouped with contrasting foliage plants. In late spring to early summer, flower stems rise above the colorful mound, adding another layer of seasonal interest.
Why it's a Creekside Champion™
FYRE WING™ 'Rhodonite' stands apart for its remarkable combination of rose, violet, purple, and copper tones that continue to evolve throughout the growing season. Beginning with rosy-copper foliage in spring and developing increasingly rich purple tones toward fall, it provides months of changing color rather than a single-season display. Its finely cut leaves offer an elegant, delicate appearance while maintaining the resilience and lasting performance we expect from a Creekside Champion. Compact, colorful, and incredibly versatile, 'Rhodonite' is an exceptional choice for bringing sophisticated color and texture to containers and garden beds.
