'Fronds Forever' Lady Fern
Common Name: Lady Fern
‘Fronds Forever’ Lady Fern is a vigorous, foliage-focused perennial that brings lush texture and distinctive form to shady garden spaces. Its green fronds develop unique cresting along the edges, with a large decorative tassel at the tip of each mature frond. The result is an elegant, highly textured fern that adds interest throughout the growing season.
Growing about 24 inches tall and spreading 18–24 inches wide, ‘Fronds Forever’ forms a full, mounded habit that works beautifully in shaded borders, containers, and woodland-style gardens. Its attractive fronds can also be cut and used in arrangements.
This easy-care perennial thrives in part shade to shade and grows well in a wide range of soil fertility levels with average water needs. It is also rabbit resistant, making it a dependable choice for adding lasting foliage interest to difficult shady areas.
