About Heartwood:
Heartwood, a family-owned business in Star, Mississippi, originated when brothers Jerry and Larry Glass transitioned from home builders to artisans crafting butterfly houses. Rooted in their community for four generations, Heartwood's handmade cypress creations gained popularity, leading to national acclaim after showcasing at the International Gift and Home Furnishing Market. Beyond butterfly houses, the company expanded to include swings, Adirondack chairs, and beekeeping products. Today, under Larry's ownership, each avian masterpiece is meticulously designed and crafted by hand at Heartwood's Main Street facility, embodying an American success story built on values of care and encouragement, serving as mentors for aspiring artisans and crafts creators.
