Description
Description
Looking to bring bold color, seasonal interest, and structure to your landscape? Sgt. Pepper™ Dogwood is here to make a statement—and then some. In spring, its variegated foliage bursts onto the scene in refreshing shades of cream and green, edged with playful pink. As summer settles in, the colors mellow, but just when you think it’s done, fall arrives and the entire plant ignites with electric burgundy and hot pink—right down to the stems!
It’s like having a tri-color beech, but in an easier, more versatile shrub form. With a tall, rounded habit, Sgt. Pepper makes an excellent foundation plant, hedge, or colorful specimen at the back of the garden. Whether your space is sunny, shady, dry, or damp, this adaptable dogwood brings beauty all season—and interest even through winter, thanks to its richly colored stems.
Why we love it:
-
Eye-catching foliage transitions from green and cream to vivid pink and burgundy
-
Big, bold shape makes it perfect for hedges, anchors, or standalone stunners
-
Thrives in a wide range of soil and light conditions—low-fuss, high impact
