Description
Description
This upright evergreen shrub offers a versatile mix of structure, color, and wildlife appeal. Growing 6–8 feet tall and 4–6 feet wide, it develops into a strong, vertical presence in the garden, perfect for creating privacy, defining borders, or adding an accent point. Its foliage shifts between deep green and bronze, providing seasonal depth, while fall brings showy blooms that add texture and color to the late-season landscape.
Why We Love It
At Creekside, we appreciate plants that pull double duty — and this shrub shines as both a structural evergreen and a pollinator-friendly bloomer. Its upright habit makes it a natural fit for hedges and screens, while the fall flowers draw in butterflies and provide long-lasting cut stems. Birds love it, too, making it a great choice for gardeners who want a lively, year-after-year presence in their landscape.
