Description

Brandywine Organic Tomato is one of the most celebrated heirloom varieties for flavor. Large fruits, often exceeding 1 pound, mature to deep pink skin with smooth red flesh inside. The taste is very rich, bold, and distinctively complex — the kind of tomato that defines peak summer.

Plants are indeterminate and continue producing throughout the season. Medium-tall vines with characteristic potato-leaf foliage benefit from staking or caging for support. This strain is selected for exceptional flavor and performance while maintaining the heirloom character gardeners expect.

Harvest fully colored fruit when slightly soft for the best eating experience.

How to Sow

  1. Start seeds indoors 5–6 weeks before the last frost.

  2. Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep and keep soil warm (75–85°F) for germination.

  3. Transplant into full sun after danger of frost has passed.

  4. Space plants 24–36 inches apart and support with stakes or cages.

  5. Harvest when fruit is fully colored and slightly soft.
