Description

Bejeweled® 'Lavender Sapphires' Penstemon

Bejeweled® 'Lavender Sapphires' Penstemon brings beautiful color and graceful texture to sunny gardens with an abundance of lavender-blue tubular flowers. Blooming from late spring through summer, its colorful flowers rise above fresh green foliage and provide a long-lasting display throughout the warmer months.

Growing 16–18 inches tall with a mounded habit, 'Lavender Sapphires' is an easy-to-use perennial for borders, mass plantings, and mixed landscapes. Its moderate size allows it to blend beautifully with other perennials, while the flower stems can also be enjoyed in cut arrangements.

With native roots in the Southwest, this North American native is heat tolerant and thrives in full sun. The tubular blooms are especially attractive to hummingbirds and also draw bees to the garden, making it an excellent addition to sunny pollinator plantings.
