Features

The Autumn Princess® Encore® Azalea produces an abundant display of beautiful salmon-pink semi-double blooms in spring, summer, and fall. The gorgeous blooms contrast nicely against the dark, lustrous green foliage. During the winter months, this variety of foliage turns into a gorgeous burgundy hue. The Autumn Princess is cold hardy to USDA zone 6b. Encore Azaleas are known for tolerating full sun better than traditional azaleas, so make sure to plant them in a location that will receive 4-6 hours of direct sunlight, with some shade during the afternoon heat. Autumn Princess is excellent for planting in the landscape or in container gardens and will perform best in slightly acidic well-drained garden soil. Apply a slow-release granular fertilizer in Spring.
