Tara® Hydrangea

Common Name: Oakleaf Hydrangea

Tara® Hydrangea is a beautiful oakleaf hydrangea prized for its distinctive double white flowers and four seasons of garden interest. In spring, dazzling white flower panicles emerge with tightly spaced florets that create a full, almost mophead-like appearance. The impressive blooms are equally beautiful in the landscape or cut for arrangements.

Growing approximately 6 feet tall and 6 feet wide, Tara® develops into a substantial shrub with handsome oak-shaped foliage. As the seasons change, its green leaves transform to rich wine-red hues in fall, extending its ornamental appeal well beyond the spring flowering season.

Tara® performs best in part shade to shade and has medium water needs once established. Its versatile habit makes it an excellent choice as an accent, hedge, mass planting, container specimen, or addition to a woodland garden. This deciduous hydrangea is also valued for its easy-care nature and drought tolerance.

Why it's a Creekside Champion™

Tara® Hydrangea earns its place as a Creekside Champion™ because it delivers so much more than beautiful spring flowers. We love its unique double white blooms, handsome oak-shaped foliage, and spectacular wine-red fall color. Its impressive size makes a statement in the landscape, while its easy-care nature and versatility make it a dependable choice for adding multi-season beauty to shaded garden spaces.
