Description
Description
Light up your landscape with Sunjoy® Citrus Barberry (Berberis thunbergii)—a bold, golden accent plant that thrives with minimal care. Its vibrant chartreuse foliage keeps its color all season long, creating a striking contrast against darker greens and flowering plants. With a naturally compact, rounded habit, it works beautifully as a border, hedge, or container plant, adding structure and brightness to any garden design.
This barberry is as practical as it is pretty: deer-resistant, low-maintenance, and adaptable to a variety of soils. Its hardy nature makes it an ideal choice for gardeners looking for lasting color without the fuss. Simply plant it in a sunny spot, and enjoy its brilliant display from spring through fall.
Why We Love It
Sunjoy® Citrus Barberry shines for its effortless, season-long color and dependable performance. It doesn’t fade in the sun, it keeps its tidy shape with little care, and it stands strong against deer and tough conditions. It’s the kind of plant that makes landscapes look polished and vibrant without asking for extra work — a true bright spot in any garden.
