ProCut® Red Sunflower Seeds
Description
Description
ProCut® Red produces bold 4–6 inch blooms in rich, wine-red tones surrounding a dark central disk. The saturated color brings depth and contrast to garden beds and late-season arrangements.
Plants grow 60–72 inches tall on sturdy, upright stems. This pollenless, single-stem variety produces one bloom per plant, making it especially suited for cutting gardens and succession planting. For a steady harvest, sow every 1–2 weeks throughout the season.
Sunflowers thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. Avoid pinching, as single-stem varieties will not branch.
How to Sow
-
Direct sow after danger of frost has passed.
-
Sow seeds 1/2 inch deep in well-drained soil.
-
Space plants 4–6 inches apart.
-
Do not pinch plants.
-
Succession sow every 1–2 weeks for continuous blooms.
