Description

Luminary® 'Backlight' Phlox

Luminary® 'Backlight' Phlox brightens the summer garden with clusters of pure white flowers held in beautifully defined panicles above deep green foliage. Its crisp white blooms create a fresh, elegant look and are especially striking when planted with other white-flowering varieties for a glowing moonlight garden.

Growing 28–30 inches tall with a strong upright habit, 'Backlight' provides plenty of color without taking up excessive garden space. Its fragrant flowers continue from summer into fall, making it an excellent choice for perennial borders, mass plantings, landscapes, containers, and cut flower gardens.

Native to North America, this easy-care perennial offers excellent disease resistance and performs well even in hot, humid conditions. The flowers attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, bringing plenty of pollinator activity to the garden throughout its bloom season.
