Description
Description
Double Take® Orange Quince (Chaenomeles speciosa 'Orange Storm')
Bring a burst of vibrant spring color to your landscape with Double Take® Orange Quince! This improved take on an old-fashioned garden favorite produces exceptionally large, fully double orange blooms that cover its branches in spring, with the possibility of additional blooms later in summer and fall. Unlike traditional flowering quince, Double Take® Orange is thornless, making its beautiful branches perfect for fresh-cut arrangements. This tough, easy-care deciduous shrub is heat and drought tolerant once established, deer resistant, and adaptable to clay soils. Its brilliant flowers also attract pollinators and migrating orioles, making it a beautiful and hardworking addition to borders, foundation plantings, and mixed landscapes.
