Chocolate Drop's lobed, rounded green leaves have a deep crimson center and crimson venation, but what makes it really unique is its trailing habit! While it gets to be 14" tall, it will trail up to 24" making it perfect as a spiller component in containers. It performs well in both sun and shade, as long as there is reasonable humidity.  In very low humidity environments, it will need afternoon shade. Sun to shade tolerant and great in both landscapes and containers. It is late to bloom, which helps preserve the foliage presentation throughout the season. Like all ColorBlaze® Coleus, it is bred to take the heat and bloom very late in the season, if at all, extending its garden performance into the fall.

  • Adaptable As Houseplant
  • Deadheading Not Necessary
