Beloved by floral designers and home gardeners alike, ‘Café Au Lait’ is one of the most iconic dahlias ever grown. Its enormous, ruffled “dinnerplate” blooms shift in color with the season—opening in soft shades of ivory, blush, creamy beige, and sometimes the faintest hint of ballet-slipper pink. No two flowers are ever exactly the same, and each one is breathtaking.
This warm-region perennial (grown as an annual in cooler climates) produces an abundance of large, luxurious flowers from midsummer until frost.
