Description
Description
Benary's Giant Mix Zinnia brings tall stems and fully double blooms in a broad range of saturated summer color. Expect shades of red, coral, orange, pink, white, purple, lime, and golden yellow — each plant slightly different, each one bold. Growing 40–50 inches tall, this annual adds height and structure to sunny beds while producing strong stems well suited for cutting.
Zinnias thrive in warm soil and full sun. Once established, regular harvesting encourages continued blooming through the heart of summer.
How to Sow
-
Start indoors about 4 weeks before planting out, or direct sow after danger of frost has passed.
-
Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep and cover lightly.
-
Keep soil warm for best germination (3–5 days in warm conditions).
-
Space plants 9–12 inches apart once established.
-
Pinch the first bud to encourage branching.
-
Succession sow every 2 weeks for extended bloom time.
