'Fireworks' is a striking, clump-forming perennial with stiff lateral electric-yellow inflorescences in early to mid-autumn that is reminiscent of exploding fireworks. This tough and robust cultivar of wrinkle-leaf goldenrod performs very well in full sun and seasonally dry soils reaching 3-4’ tall. Fireworks wrinkle-leaf goldenrod attracts many pollinating insects when flowering. It blooms for up to two weeks and is an excellent perennial border
